The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis comes from four different lieux-dits from north to south of the appellation. It has an attractive bouquet with black cherries, bilberry and orange blossom; the oak neatly folded into the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, masculine in style with subtle tobacco notes infusing the slightly broody and yet fresh and tensile finish. It deserves a couple of years in bottle and should evolve into a very attractive Morey-Saint-Denis.
Tasting is medium body, with a remarkable tannic grip, characterized by a sip of pleasant freshness. Aromas of sweet red berries, cinnamon, warm spice and rose petals.
