Louis Latour is a winery founded in 1797 that has been run by the same family for eleven generations. The vineyards for Louis Latour Pommard Epenots are around 30 years old. They produce around 40 hl/hectare, and the harvest is carried out manually. Louis Latour Pommard Epenots is vinified in wooden tanks and aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels with medium toasting, 35% of which are new. Louis Latour Pommard Epenots is a wine that is an expression of Burgundy. A complex and rounded wine made by one of the most prestigious houses in the area.
The Pommard 2017 has a pretty ruby color which reveals a discret nose with cherry and nutmeg. The mouth is ample, round and gives the feeling of bitting into cherries. There is a remarkable tannic final.
