Teeling’s Single Malt Crystal Irish Whiskey

(46%) (700ml) This limited edition bottling of Teeling’s single malt is crafted by adding crystal malt to its mash bill followed by maturation exclusively in Virgin American Oak Barrels. Crystal Malt is made when the sugars that are formed during the traditional malting process are crystalized through extra heat, producing distinct toffee-like flavours in the resulting whiskey. It has a nose of green apple, stewed pears, with hints of brown sugar, vanilla and light oak shavings. The palate is a burst of toffee coats the palate with apple pie spice and fresh pastries, followed by a honeyed sweetness, with a long luxurious finish with notes of soft cinnamon spice and caramel.
